Biography
Monica R. Machado, based in Florida, brings extensive experience in domestic and international legal recruitment consultancy. She currently serves as the Head of PP at Laurence Simons LatAm in the USA. Monica, a Brazil-qualified attorney, began her career with leading law firms and in-house legal departments in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. She later moved to London, UK, where she developed her international legal recruiting career, notably as the Head of the Latin America Desk in a leading Legal Recruiting Agency.
Upon relocating to the USA (DC and NYC), Monica assumed responsibility for recruiting and advising qualified lawyers at all levels for private practice and select in-house roles. Her legal recruitment journey commenced in 2010 at Laurence Simons in SP/Brazil, and she luckily rejoined LS LatAm in 2023, based in the MIA/USA office.
