Summary:
A prestigious law firm is seeking an Associate to join its Debt Finance team, which is a key part of its Finance practice. The Debt Finance team handles a broad scope of deals, spanning leveraged finance, asset-based lending, corporate lending, and REF. Primarily, the team focuses on the mid-market, and the right candidate will be well-versed in this space.
Role Tasks:
The successful candidate will work across a blend of lender and borrower transactions, with the right candidate having experience across both. Clients include private equity sponsors, corporates, traditional banks, and various others. This position provides broad exposure to diverse transactions, and you will have the opportunity to work on a range of acquisition financings and cashflow lending deals.
The team has a committed growth strategy, with the support of the senior leadership, and a long-term partnership track for the right candidate.
Role Requirements:
- 3+PQE with experience in the UK mid-market space
- Substantial experience in complex, cross-border private equity deals
- Training from a firm with a strong profile in Banking & Finance.
- Experience in managing junior members of the team, including trainees and solicitors
