Our client is looking for a corporate/private equity senior associate to join its highly regarded, award-winning corporate team that is recognised for the quality of its transactional and advisory work.
Clients include public and private corporates, private equity investors, investee companies and management teams globally. They are well known for their sector expertise in technology and media, retail, insurance and financial services.
Their business is of a scale and quality which can comfortably handle large matters whilst still retaining a personal touch and the flexibility to assist on daily business.
The role:
Our client is looking for a talented Senior Associate with 5+ years of PQE.
You will have the opportunity to be involved in a mixture of work: including private M&A, together with private equity. You will have the opportunity to develop deep sector expertise. You will have a high degree of autonomy and client involvement and will be encouraged and supported in helping drive the business forward.
Role Requirements: Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- 5 + years of PQE or equivalent relevant expertise.
- Expertise in corporate work including private M&A, together with private equity.
- Delivers legal and commercial solutions, working collaboratively with clients and colleagues to provide an outstanding client experience.
- Takes responsibility for managing and developing strong relationships with clients based on an understanding of their business objectives.
- Committed to business development to further grow the practice. Identifies and shapes commercial opportunities encouraging others to participate.
- Works efficiently and commercially and understands the importance of financial hygiene. Shares their understanding with the team.
- Adopts a commercial mindset when pricing, resourcing and using technology to manage matters and understands the impact of this on profitability.
- A collaborative leader within a team who coaches and develops junior team members to achieve their full potential.
